Q: What age groups can play?
A: Currently the Halifax Argos Association has Peewee & Bantam divisions. Young athletes going into Grade 6/7 & 8/9 in the Fall 2020 school year can participate in our program.
 
Q: What are the costs of registration?
A: The cost of registration for the Fall “House League” 2020 season is $165.00 (fees/taxes incl.). More details can be found on our Registration Info page.
 
Q: Is gear provided or do I have to purchase my own?
A: The only gear you must provide is a pair of cleats and a mouth guard. All other gear is provided by the Association (deposit required; refundable).
 
Q: What is the schedule like?
A: Practices are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm weekly. Currently at this, with the COVID-19 Pandemic Restrictions we do not have a game schedule. Updates will be announced through our Social Media platforms, as well via Email.
 
Q: When does the season begin/end?
A: The season starts in August and ends in November.
 
Q: How much playing time will my player get?
A: We, the Argos Association believe all youth deserve the same chance to play football, whether they are just starting out or they are seasoned athletes. Each of our players get ample time to play and learn on our team.
